FTL150 Happy Birthday

Can you tell I am on a card crusade lately? I don't have the money to get my hair done because I'm STILL unemployed. I have a friend that is a hairdresser, and she told me that she would trade me cards to get my hair done. She knows I am desperate. I think she feels sorry for me lol. She's awesome.
The card I'm sharing with you this morning is based on the FTL150 sketch over at the Clean & Simple Stamping blog today.
I didn't think I liked this one, but it's growing on me. And, I haven't used these stamp sets in ages. The Big Pieces set popped right into my head as soon as I saw the sketch, so it came together sort of quick. It was hard for me to pick colors, but I found a piece of BoBunny paper in my stash that 'spoke' to me lol. I didn't have a big enough piece to use much on the front, so I decided to put it inside.

This is such a cute take on the CAS sketch! Love that little strip of paper inside - it really pulls the whole thing together. TFS!

Lovely card. The cool colours and clean layout are very effective. Reminds me of a beach summer in Australia!
