Times Square

This is for my NYC album. If you can't read the journaling, it says, "Times Square at night time is amazing, exciting, and a little intimidating for a small town Utah girl."
I used skech #42 from 52sketches52weeks.

My Pity Purchase

I went shopping today--trying to find new winter clothes and couldn't find anything that would fit me. I was feeling really bad until..............I saw this.

All better.

Funny Little Story

So, I went to Subway for lunch with my sister and my soon to be 5 year-old niece yesterday afternoon.
While we're sitting there eating, Jordyn tells my sister, "Mom, the next time we come here, get me pickles ok?"
Lacy says, "Oh, Ok Mother."
Then Jordyn proceeds to get this little attitude head bob and retorts back, "I ain't your motha."
OMG--cutest thing ever.

dad's girl

This is my take on sketch #41 at 52sketches52weeks. OMG--do you realize there are only 10 weeks until Christmas!!! That freaks me out. I wish I could slow time down.

Pluto

Just a quick page I did tonight for my Disneyland album. I took the picture in the house because it is dark outside, so sorry for the glare.
Garrett didn't want to take his picture with Pluto, but I thought he'd be sorry later if he didn't, so I made him lol.
I used sketch #40 over at 52 sketches 52 weeks, but you wouldn't be able to tell by looking at the sketch. I didn't follow it closely at all because I only had one picture. But, the point is that it gets your juices flowing, right?

Just a Nice Fall Day

Today has just been one of those great fall days. It is cold outside, so we've got the heater on and we're curled up in our tv blankets watching some football. Or, reading a magazine while Shane watches football as the case may be lol. It's just a nice relaxing Sunday afternoon. I love these days. I wish I could just slow it down so I don't have to work tomorrow.
I'm making my first stew of the year today too. It smells so good. I try to make it like my mom used to, but I'm not sure if I get it right. I think it's pretty close. It has potatoes, carrots, celery, onions, and elk meat. That part I know is different, mom wouldn't have been using elk meet lol. But, it is close enough. I think she just used the ready chopped stew meat from the grocery store. Hmmm...those are the same ingredients I use for roast, but I don't chop up the meat. Maybe we'll have that next Sunday.

Hmmmm......

I can keep up on a blog, facebook, and two emails, but I can't seem to keep up with my housework. Curious.

Some More Pages

I got to spend all day scrapbooking today. It's hard to believe I still like it now that I'm the scrapbook buyer at work. I'm good at separating it in my head though lol. But I do hate when I go into a different scrapbook store and it looks better than ours. It ruins my shopping buzz. That happens a lot lately. I'm trying to redo the entire scrapbook section in our stores, and it has been less than fun.
Anyway, back to the pages. The first on is my niece, Jordy. She's so cute. This is her first day of preschool last year.
The other two are pages for my New York album.
