More Cards

I was trying to wait to post these cards because they were all for birthdays (and one wedding) and hadn't been given out. Well, now all of them are done except the one with the Mustang on it. I ordered the gift to go with that one over a week and a half ago online, and it STILL isn't here. His birthday was Monday. I do not have patience for these things. I should have just gone to the store to get it, but it was cheaper online and the store was inconvenient. *Sigh* Anyway, the person that one is for does not read my blog (I don't think), so I think I'm safe to post them now.

Here is a card I made this weekend with the Strawberries and Flowers image from Heart Song Designs. I've been working on about 7 cards this weekend. Five birthdays, one wedding, and this one to sell at my friend's salon. So, once I get all of the birthdays and weddings given out, I will share those as well.

Mother's Day

This is my favorite photo of my mom and I. I want to wish her a very Happy Mother's Day. I know she is in heaven looking down and watching over us. I miss her very much, and even though it's been 15 1/2 years since she  died, I think about her every single day. Never more than on Mother's Day though. I miss you mom.

I found Scrapbook Challenges last year while searching the internet for sketch websites to boost my creativity and the quality of my scrapbooking. I feel really lucky to have stumbled across this particular site because I've made so many great friends here and the sketches and gallery samples really have pushed my scrapping to the next level. Shortly after I joined, SC issued a design team call and contest. I submitted some of my work, and was lucky enough to be selected for the challenge team there. The rest, as they say, is history!
For this blog hop, each of the DT members chose one of Pamela's awesome scrapbook sketches to use in making an inspirational themed scrapbook page.
