So, as I mentioned on my last post, we went on an early Valentine's Day date last night. We wanted to beat the rush and not have to wait forever for a table, so we decided to do it a week in advance. All of the adults on my side of the family went out to eat at Olive Garden and then we went bowling. Afterwards we all went to Lacy's house and played a little Yahtzee (which, btw, is the only game I like to play at all). It was a lot of fun. I wish we could do this stuff a bit more often, but it adds up to be an expensive night lol. Anyway, I think the highlight of the evening was when we told the waiter it was my dad's birthday. He got all of the servers to come over and sing and everything. It was hilarious. BTW--it was not his bday. It's not until May. But, he was a good sport about it and didn't tell them. I pretty much suck at bowling, but I had an awesome time with my family. I'm not all that competative, so I don't care about the score. Although, I have to say, I won the first game lol. For the picture above, left to right we are: my husband Shane, me, Sister Kim, Brother-In-Law Jason (behind Kim), Dad's girlfriend Diane, Dad, Sister Lacy, and Brother-In-Law Dusty. Andy joined us later at Lacy's house for the gaming.
I love my family more than anything. And love is what V-day is all about, right? Thanks for a wonderful time and great memories guys! Here's to years and years to make some more of them!

I have a date
I have a date with hubby Saturday night. I'm so excited. We never go out anymore. He decided that instead of buying me flowers for Valentine's Day that we could go out and do something together. We're going to go to dinner at Olive Garden and then bowling with my two sisters and their hubby's and my dad and his girlfriend. We decided to do it the weekend before Valentine's so that we might be able to beat the crowds.
